Lam Research is looking for an experienced Business Relationship Manager to be part of a dynamic IT team supporting Lam's Global Customer Operations (GCO) Business Unit. This position's primary responsibility is the management of strategic initiatives and services that IT provides to the business group. The Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for working across multiple groups, functions, and geographies to successful deliver business value. This individual will need to have excellent communication skills, determination, and perseverance to be successful.

The Impact You'll Make

The position requires a broad experience across core IT services, platforms and systems along extensive experience and knowledge of sales processes, functions, opportunities, and challenges. The person in this role provides leadership for those involved in the development, design, and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. The role requires subject matter knowledge of the user group for practical application of system characteristics. Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the Business Unit Services Team for GCO, set the strategic direction for the organization in support of business objectives and ensure the structures and processes needed to effectively deliver are in place. Ensures commitments are delivered & objectives are met.
  • Translate the Business Unit Executive vision into strategy and work towards a plan for successful execution.
  • Set and maintain strategy for Business Systems and Services in support of GCO, ensuring the optimization of the systems across Sales and Lam.
  • Deliver a combined business and IT roadmap to support GCO and IT strategy for the delivery of increased business capabilities, improved services, and reduced time and cost of delivery.
  • Provide level 3 partnership, engaging with business leaders and executives to deliver business unit commitments. Executive alignment of programs and strategies across GCO.
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional matrixed environment to deliver innovative services and solutions to business needs.
  • Provide continuity and visibility across GCO and Lam programs.
  • Interact, influence, and align with all levels of Lam management and executives while delivering services and capability to GCO.
  • Develop the organizations skills, capabilities, and processes to meet GIS and GCO challenges and opportunities.
  • Assist GCO with vendor selection and management major outsourcing and software agreements. Manage vendor engagements both within GIS and in partnership with business units for business specific resources and services.
Who We're Looking For
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of IT and Sales business experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in successfully leading and managing diverse cross functional programs.
  • Demonstrated business relationship management and leadership.
  • Understanding of Sales processes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Technical experience required; SDLC, Agile & Scrum methodology experience required.
  • Understanding of the business systems and services required to run GCO efficiently and effectively.
  • Background in SAP ERP systems (ECC and S/4), CRM platform such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, or SAP C4C and custom home-grown applications.
  • Strong cross-group collaboration skills and experience working across multiple teams both within the division and across the company.
  • Excellent interpersonal, human relations, written, verbal and listening communication skills.
  • Experience managing a team, directly and in a matrix organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience
  • Sound understanding and experience with SAP S/4 implementations with CRM.
  • Experience with designing business processes and how to design business processes with S/4 functionality in mind.
  • Constant learner and keeps up to date with new functionality in S/4
  • SAP certification preferred for Sales functions.
  • Business knowledge of Customer Engagement, Business Development & Sales Operations, and business process knowledge of a manufacturing industry
  • Experience with any of the ERP & CRM systems.
  • Experience in a global, multinational environment.

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $129,000.00 - $272,000.00

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
